Investing in Children will use the information from consent forms that parents, guardians or young people (aged 16+) complete for the following reasons:

Date of birth:

Investing in Children will use this information so that young people when they turn 18 years old so we can support them to move on. If young people are still involved in projects a Disclosure and Barring Certificate (DBS) may be required to ensure that each individual is suitable to work with children and young people.

Gender Identity/Ethnicity:

Investing in Children will use this information to ensure that Investing in Children is accessible to all children & young people.

Address:

Investing in Children will use this information to send out updates on project meetings, annual reports, and quarterly newsletters.

Home & mobile number, email address and emergency contact details:

Investing in Children will use this information so that members of staff can contact young people in regards to meetings. The information will also be used to contact parents or guardians in case of emergency.

Medical Conditions:

Investing in Children will use this information to ensure that staff members are aware of any medical conditions that children & young people have so that they are properly trained and are able to deal with any problems.

Information Sharing

Investing in Children will not share any information you provide us with third parties and will only be shared with Investing in Children staff members.
